Established for over 20 years, Back To The Grain is East Sussex's most experienced name in paint and varnish removal. We are a long established independent family business based in the county town of Lewes, East Sussex. We are experts at removing paint and varnish from all types of wood i.e. pine, oak, hardwood and teak garden furniture and metal. We can strip virtually anything! From doors, skirtingboards and furniture, to decorative metal work, iron bedsteads and even car bonnets! We don't charge additional costs to neutralise as we include this service as standard practice. We also have a large showroom full of reclaimed country furniture! We sell a wide range of reclaimed doors in many styles and sizes please look at our online door store for some examples.
